The cure will be ingested, and “the implications of what that means will be a great story to tell next year,” previews Plec, who adds that the hour will close with two cliffhangers that will “send the show spinning in a whole new direction.” Change is also in store for the series’ core trio. “We will know, when the finale is over, where everyone stands in the context of the Stefan/Damon/Elena triangle,” reveals the EP. “It will definitely set all three of them on a very different and interesting path when we move forward.” Lest you think that means the episode is all about heartbreak and breakups, the EP says that “when all is said and done, it’s got some pretty good romantic moments.” And some goodbyes? “I cannot comment on permanent deaths, but I will say there will be lots of destruction,” replies Plec.

McQueen) scheint es nun als wenn es kein Zurück zur Menschlichkeit mehr für die letzte der Gilbert-Familie gibt. Nach dem neuen Poster, das The CW für die May-Sweeps veröffentlicht hat, zu urteilen, wird es zukünftig nur noch schlimmer.

WHO WILL TAKE THE CURE? — On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies. Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) life is in danger after a ghostly encounter, while Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) join forces to battle a ghost determined to find the cure. As everyone gathers for the graduation ceremony and the ghosts converge, help comes from an unlikely hero. Caroline (Candice Accola) receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine (Nina Dobrev). This is the Vampire Diaries season 4, episode 19 has officially released spoilers about the upcoming show, on how Elena, Caroline and Bonnie will graduate togehter.
Hollywood Hills reports: Recently, CW dropped this new spoiler pic for their upcoming “Vampire Diaries” finale episode 23 of season 4,and it appears that we will be seeing evil Elena graduate after all. Since she’s not all trapped in the dungeon and smiling, I’m guessing that she might have turned her humanity back on at that point. Currently, that issue is unclear,but everyone seems to be getting along pretty well in this photo.
As for tonight’s episode 21, there’s a different story in the works. One that involves Elena ,getting the crap tortured out of her by Damon,Stefan,and scandalous Katherine . Yep, they’ve recruited Katherine as they know she won’t have any problems not holding back,and just wailing on Elena like nobody’s business. Episode 21 airs tonight,May 2nd,and the finale ep is set for May 16th.

'Vampire Diaries': EP Julie Plec previews the season finale PHOTOS

The Vampire Diaries season finale doesn’t air until May 16, but the “Graduation” photos have arrived.
“It’s difficult to throw an event in Mystic Falls without it going catastrophically awry, but one of the things that was really important to us is that we do give this event itself its due,” says executive producer Julie Plec, who cowrote the episode with Caroline Dries. “We approached this episode, in its own way, like a series finale because our character’s graduating from high school is a shift in the show to open up a lot of new storytelling opportunities and new environments. So we really wanted to be able to get all the emotion out of this episode that we could before we move on to a different life. We made sure that in spite of everything that’s going on in the midst of it, we still get those great friendship moments and nostalgia moments that I, as a fan of TV over the decades, loved so much on high school shows as you reached that milestone.”
Will there be a death at graduation? “There will definitely be an altercation resulting in some blood loss, but that’s about all I can say,” Plec teases.

From the episode synopsis, we know that Mystic Falls will be “overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores and fulfilling their supernatural destinies.” They’ll begin to appear in the May 9 episode, appropriate titled “The Walking Dead.” Says Plec, “Part of Silas’ plan to drop the veil — and Bonnie’s effort to either help him or stop him — they kind of blow up in everybody’s face in ‘The Walking Dead,’ and we get our first glimpses of what would happen if this veil fell completely. We start to have some ghosts coming through from the other side. It’s a nice collection of faces that will make us happy, and then some faces that we thought we probably shouldn’t see again because they’re up to no good.” (So they are technically ghosts? “It’s the same way we’ve done in the past when they break their way through from the other side, they have corporeal form,” Plec explains. “It’s just that if you kill them and the veil’s down, they can just walk right back through. So they’re kind of indestructible.”)

Someone will finally take the cure for vampirism in the finale. Plec won’t say whether the third time is a charm for Rebekah. “I will tell you that we started the season having firmly decided exactly who was gonna get the cure, and about halfway through the season, we changed our minds,” she says.

Plec also won’t spoil what Elena decides are her true feelings for each of the Salvatore Brothers, or whether Stefan will head out of town for the start of season 5 – something Paul Wesley has rooted for. “It all hinges on what, if any truth comes out of Elena and Elena’s situation,” Plec says. “Stefan has been pretty clear about being ready to move on. So the question is will he need to?” (We’re sure the shot of Damon above from the finale doesn’t influence Elena, at all).

We spoke to Plec before the most recent episode’s reveal that Hayley is pregnant with Klaus’ child, so we didn’t get to ask her whether Caroline will know the news by the time Klaus makes his surprise return (or if he’ll tell her). But when she told us, “I cried some really beautiful sad tears, and I cried some great happy tears as well” while writing the episode, we have to think the moment pictured above brought on the waterworks.

As we head into the final two episodes of The Vampire Diaries Season 4, I definitely had a lot of questions for Julie Plec earlier today that she answered in her trademark fabulously teasing way.
Will Elena having her feelings back mean the return of the Salvatore love triangle? Will Rebekah find happiness ... ever? Are we finally seeing movement in the Caroline/Klaus story? Is Tyler coming back?
And, finally, in an exclusive scoop that The Vampire Diaries show-runner / executive producer told only me: Is that truly Kol we see in the trailer for this week’s episode, “The Walking Dead” ... or Silas-Kol?

TV Fanatic: Bonnie has vowed to keep her promise to Silas and has also partnered with Katherine. Is the girl digging her own grave or what?
Julie Plec: [laughs] The beauty of Bonnie is that in spite of being led down some very dark paths over the course of the year her moral compass is stronger than ever and she’s definitely up to something. And if you’re up to something and you’re up to no good, you may as well partner with the one girl in town who’s better at being up to no good than you are.
TVF: Speaking of Katherine, does she really just want her freedom or is there something else that we just don’t know yet? JP: The thing that’s interesting about Katherine this year is she’s always been, as we’ve developed the character, a survivor, a fighter, very selfish, looking out for number one, and I think that’s taken its toll on her and made her a little bat-shit crazy in certain ways, excuse the language. Like everyone on the show, she’s someone, when all is said in done, just needs her own peace. Her lack of ability to have achieved it for herself is making her very bold and aggressive and that does not stop before the season is out.
TVF: Whether the Veil is going to drop or not, is that what Silas really wants or is there more that has yet to be revealed? JP: There is definitely more to the Silas story than has been told. His motives…he’s pretty honest. It’s just some details that he’s left out.
TVF: In the trailer for this coming week, we see Kol, which makes me think that this is Silas as Kol. Or could it be Kol somehow being resurrected? JP: We’ll have to wait and see but definitely we…let’s see, how do I answer that…you know what? I’ll say it! F*** it! No, that was Kol. That is Kol. In the dead flesh, that is Kol.
TVF: Nice! I like seeing him back! We know that Elena’s main goal is to kill Katherine. So can we expect a big epic confrontation this week or in the finale? JP: Yeah, you can expect a collection of moments between Elena and Katherine over the next few weeks that leaves some deep scars?
TVF: Emotional, physical or both? JP: All of the above.
TVF: The Damon/Elena/Stefan love triangle. Is that coming back to life or is there too much going on to worry about where their hearts are? JP: Definitely the one lingering question as we get into the last two episodes is that Elena, as she makes her way back to her normal self, is going to have to get back in touch with her true feelings so that question is asked and answered before the season is out and it definitely seems very permanent and it’s life altering for all of three of them.
TVF: My dear Rebekah. I want her to have some satisfaction or happiness. Is that even possible with these last episodes? JP: [laughs] Believe it or not, Rebekah gets a nice moment or two where you feel like the girl might actually have a little fun.
TVF: Would that possibly be with Matt? JP: It very well could be but I would never tell.
TVF: Are we seeing Tyler again? Or Jeremy, for that matter? JP: I can’t tell you but I can tell you that Tyler’s fate gets resolved by the end of the season.
TVF: Of course, I have to ask about Klaus/Caroline. Any movement with them either romantic or otherwise? JP: There is definitely some movement between two of them. Whether or not it’s romantic, I cannot say but we will see Klaus again before the end of the season.
TVF: With The Originals coming next season, safe to say we will see many new characters on TVD next season? JP: We’re definitely going to see some new faces. Some of our characters are going to go to college and Mystic Falls will have lost some of its vampire population and so there’s going to be new opportunities, new villains and new friends in season five.
TVF: What are the rules for crossing over between TVD and The Originals? JP: I think, at the moment, there are no rules. I think that we have characters moving from one life to another and they have connections from where they have just moved from so we’re not going to pretend like that connection never existed. If anything, they’re going to be very present emotionally in the new series and it’s just a matter of what opportunities can happen [and] when to pay a little visit from one show to the other.
TVF: There’s good buzz on [your new pilot] Tomorrow People getting picked up but if it does happen – and knowing you are busy and Greg Berlanti has a myriad of projects – how will that logistically work? JP: We’ve been talking about it. [Greg] is going to be with Phil Klemmer (who wrote the pilot) as the day-to-day brainchild of the Tomorrow People and I’m going to be in there helping as often as I can and as much as I can. It’s such a great show. I was proud of the pilot and I’m really hoping it goes. I think people will really like it.
The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. The Originals will air this fall on the CW and the fate of Tomorrow People will be known next week at Upfronts in NYC.

Vampire Diaries : Interwievs mit Aaron Jay Rome & Zach Roerig
Alloy Entertainment sprach mit zwei Darstellern von The Vampire Diaries.
Zum einen mit Aaron Jay Rome, der in der 16. Folge der 4. Staffel das erste Mal in Erscheinung tritt. Um nicht zu viel zu verraten, erfahrt Ihr unten mehr über seine Rolle des Will.
Zach Roerig widerum ist als Matt einer von Elenas besten Freunden seit der 1. Staffel dabei und sprach in einem neuen interview über viele Dinge und den bevorstehenden Abschlussball in der Serie.
So sagt Zach, dass er dazu gar nicht so viel verraten dürfe: “Ich kann nicht viel dazu sagen, aber es war spannend, denn Smoking anzuziehen und alle meine Schauspielkollegen in schönen Kleidern zu sehen.” Am Ende des Balltages sei Matt der Held, der alle verprügelt und sich wieder unter Kontrolle hätte, erzählt er lachend. Matt hätte in der 4. Staffel definitiv mehr aus sich herausgeholt bzw. er hätte es gemusst, lest mehr von dem Interview.
Und nun zu dem Interview mit Aaaron, der als Will ein guter Freund von Damon war, bevor dieser zurück nach Mystic Falls gegangen ist. Nun taucht er wieder auf, aber auch in Rückblenden ist er zu sehen. Damon reißt ihm das Herz heraus und Klaus beißt ihn, erfahren wir aus dem Interview. Aber welche Szene war wohl lustiger zu drehen? Aaron berichtet, dass er schon immer ein Superheld werden wollte und sogar ‘Superhero’ als Tätowierung auf seinem Rücken stände, so wäre es allgemein ziemlich aufregend dgewesen. “Die Klaus-Szene müsste aber einfach wegen dem übermenschlichen Aspekt gewinnen”
