That’s a headline I loved posting! At the 2015 winter TV press tour The CW has announced that it renewed The Originals for a third season. Renewals usually never happen this early so I’m super excited we already know it will be around next season and don’t have to fret about it later.

Macht euch bereit, denn es wird düster! Eure Lieblingsvampire von "The Originals" kommen zurück zu sixx - und das bereits im März 2016 mit einer brandheißen neuen Staffel in deutscher Erstausstrahlung! Das "Vampire Diaries"-Spin-Off, das sich um die 1000 Jahre alte Urvampirfamilie Mikaelson dreht, geht in die dritte Runde.
Was bisher geschah In der zweiten Staffel von "The Originals" mit Joseph Morgan , Daniel Gillies und Phoebe Tonkin ging es turbulent zu! Klaus und sein Halbbruder Elijah haben tausende von Jahren damit zugebracht, ihre nicht wirklich funktionierende Familie zusammenzuhalten. Nun mussten sie gegen ihre wiederauferstandene Mutter Esther und deren Schwester Dahlia kämpfen. Esther konfrontierte die beiden mit Dämonen ihrer Vergangenheit und Dahlia wollte Hope, die Tochter von Klaus und Hayley, von den Urvampiren stehlen. Außerdem musste sich Hayley in ihrer Rolle als Werwolfanführerin entscheiden: Kämpft sie für ihren Clan oder um die Liebe zu Elijah? Beides zu vereinen scheint unmöglich.

Staffel 3 wartet mit weiteren Familientragödien und Triumphen rund um die Mikaelsons auf. Klaus und Elijah entfremden sich immer mehr. Endlich: Erster Trailer vom Crossover “Vampire Diaries” und “The Originals” (Video)
Darauf haben die Fans lange gewartet! Endlich gibt es die ersten Einblicke in das geplante Crossover der beiden Serien “Vampire Diaries” und “The Originals”. Und der Promotrailer verrät schon einmal, dass es richtig spannend wird.

Schon länger brodelte die Gerüchteküche, dass es womöglich ein Crossover von “The Vampire Diaries” und “The Originals” geben könnte. Und tatsächlich, die Gerüchte wurden von Produzentin Julie Plec bestätigt. In einem Interview hat die 43-Jährige bestätigt, dass die Idee eines Crossovers zwar aus der Not heraus entstanden ist, dennoch erwartet die Fans eine spannende Story. ProSieben berichtet: “Das Crossover ist daraus geboren, dass Stefan einen Platz zum Flüchten brauchte.” Der Grund für seine Flucht ist, dass Stefan Salvatore einen Platz finden muss, an dem die Magie nicht wirkt, und das ist geben genau in New Orleans.
Spannender Trailer Deshalb trifft Stefan Salvatore, der von Paul Wesley gespielt wird, auf Klaus von “The Originals”. Die beiden genehmigen sich einen Drink zusammen. Streit wird es zwischen den beiden aber nicht geben: “Stefan ist jetzt mit Caroline zusammen. Und Klaus ist mit allem bezüglich Cami durch”, verrät Produzentin Julie Plec. “Sie haben erstaunlicherweise eine anständige und ehrliche Konversation über Liebe. Was sie bedeutet. Und über die Opfer, die du in ihren Namen machen musst.” Genau dieses Gespräch zwischen Stefan und Klaus ist in dem neuen Promo-Video des Crossovers zu sehen. Vielleicht kurbelt das die Zuschauerzahlen von “The Vampire Diaries” ja wieder an?
