Anna Kendrick bezaubert bei der "Celebration of Dance"-Gala Bei der "Celebration of Dance"-Gala am Samstag in Los Angeles, Kalifornien, bezauberte die 28-Jährige Schauspielerin und Sängerin Anna Kendrick in einem beigefarbenen, ärmellosen, knielangen Kleid in A-Linie. Besonderer Hingucker waren die goldenen Applikationen, die vor allem den Halsbereich betonten. Ebenfalls gülden: Clutch und High Heels.
Mit "Pitch Perfect" feierte die US-Amerikanerin im vergangenen Jahr einen großen Erfolg. Unter anderen bekam sie dafür den "MTV Movie Award" für den "Besten Musical Moment".

Anna Kendrick (28) kennt man in der Regel für eines: Ihre solide Darstellung in diversen Hollywod-Filmen von der Twilight-Reihe bis hin zu "Up in the Air" neben George Clooney (52), für die sie sogar eine Oscar-Nominierung einheimste. Skandale hat die hübsche Schauspielerin bis jetzt eher wenige bis keine produziert. Da überrascht die neueste Meldung, die momentan über Anna die Runde macht, schon ein wenig:Am Set zu ihrem aktuellen Film "Drinking Buddies" betrank sie sich doch tatsächlich während der Arbeit! Muss man sich nun Sorgen um die schöne Mimin machen?
Zum Glück kann man in diesem Punkt gleich wieder Entwarnung geben, Anna ist trotz ihres Hollywood-Ruhms nicht zur Alkoholikerin geworden. Ihr neuer Film ist in Teilen eine Improvisationsarbeit und damit das Verhalten der Schauspieler noch realistischer rüberkommt, ließ Regisseur Joe Swanberg der Schauspielerin in einer Trink-Szene echtes Bier servieren - und zwar ohne sie vorher darüber in Kenntnis zu setzen! Im Interview mit Vulture berichtete Anna von dieser gewöhnungsbedürftigen Erfahrung: "Während einer Bar-Szene gaben sie mir nichtalkoholisches Bier, aber in einer Szene, in der ich mit Jake Johnson Karten spielte, haben sie mir richtiges Bier gegeben, und ich habe das nicht gewusst! Also habe ich jedes Mal, wenn ich verloren habe, Alkohol in mich hineingeschüttet und habe das nicht realisiert, bis wir das Take halb geschafft hatten! Ich dachte mir, 'Puh, ich bin gerade total betrunken!'"
Als die Szene im Kasten war, habe sie der Crew gestehen müssen, wie beschwipst sie während der Arbeit sei. Um auszunüchtern, habe sie einfach nur dagesessen und gewartet."Es war wirklich bizarr. Betrunken bei deinem Job zu sein, ist wirklich unangenehm!"
Annas betrunkenes Verhalten blieb natürlich ihren Kollegen nicht verborgen. In einem Interview mit The Daily Beast amüsierte sich ihr Filmpartner Jake Johnson (35):"Anna ist eines der zierlichsten Leichtgewichte, die ich jemals erlebt habe. Sie zischte ein Bier weg, von dem sie dachte, dass es keinen Alkohol enthielt, und war direkt betrunken."
Wie gut, dass es sich bei diesem Schwips jedoch um einen beabsichtigten Effekt vom - zugegeben - etwas gemeinen Regisseur handelte!

Filming is underway in London on director Rob Marshall’s (Chicago) feature film adaptation of James Lapine’s Tony-winning stage musical Into the Woods. The Disney prouduction stars James Corden and Emily Blunt as a Baker and his wife who venture into the woods to confront the witch responsible for putting a curse on the childless couple. Along the way, they run into a number of familiar characters like Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, and Cinderella. Meryl Streep plays the villainous witch, Johnny Depp is set to portray the Big Bad Wolf, Chris Pine is Cinderella’s prince, and Anna Kendrick steps into the role of Cinderella.
Talented actors and actress from the stage and screen fill out the rest of the cast, and Stephen Sondheim has contributed a new original song to the feature. Lapine penned the screenplay, and the behind-the-scenes team includes legendary costume designer Colleen Atwood. Hit the jump to read the full press release, which runs down every role. BURBANK, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2013) – Disney’s “Into the Woods” kicked off production last week, featuring an award-winning production team and all-star ensemble cast. Rob Marshall, the talented filmmaker behind the Academy Award®-winning musical “Chicago” and Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” helms the film, which is based on the Tony®-winning original musical by James Lapine, who also penned the screenplay, and legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, who provides the music and lyrics—including an all-new song for the big-screen adaptation. “Into the Woods” is produced by Marshall, John DeLuca, “Wicked” producer Marc Platt and Callum McDougall. Shooting in studio and on location throughout England, the film is slated for a December 25, 2014, holiday release.
“Into the Woods” is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.
The all-star ensemble cast includes:

· Christine Baranski (“Mamma Mia!,” “Chicago” “The Good Wife”) takes on the infamous Stepmother who wishes for riches and grandeur; she’ll do anything to marry off one of her daughters to a prince.
· MacKenzie Mauzy (“Brother’s Keeper,” Broadway’s “Next to Normal”) plays Rapunzel, a sheltered young woman who experiences the world beyond her tower for the first time.
· Billy Magnussen (Broadway’s “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” “Boardwalk Empire,” “The East”) is the dashing and eager Prince who courts Rapunzel.
Celebrated actors from the stage and screen fill the supporting roles, including Tammy Blanchard (“Blue Jasmine,” “The Good Shepherd”) and Lucy Punch (“Bad Teacher,” “Dinner for Schmucks”) as Cinderella’s spoiled stepsisters, Florinda and Lucinda. Richard Glover (“Sightseers,” “St. Trinian’s”) is the Princes’ royal steward, Frances de la Tour (“Hugo,” “Alice In Wonderland”) portrays the giant, and Simon Russell Beale (“The Deep Blue Sea”) is the Baker’s father. Actress Joanna Riding (“My Fair Lady,” “Carousel”) portrays Cinderella’s late mother, and Little Red Riding Hood’s beloved granny is played by Annette Crosbie (“Calendar Girls,” “The Slipper and the Rose”).
The big-screen adaptation welcomes songs from the stage musical, including “Children Will Listen,” “Giants in the Sky,” “On the Steps of the Palace,” “No One Is Alone” and “Agony,” among others. Additionally, Sondheim has penned an all-new song for the story’s theatrical debut.
The award-winning production team includes Dion Beebe (“Collateral,” “Chicago,” “Nine”), Oscar® winner for the Marshall-helmed “Memoirs of a Geisha,” as director of photography. Dennis Gassner (“Skyfall,” “Quantum of Solace”), who won his own Oscar for “Bugsy,” serves as production designer, and three-time Oscar winner Colleen Atwood (“Memoirs of a Geisha,” “Chicago,” “Alice In Wonderland”) is costume designer.
“Into the Woods” premiered on Broadway on Nov. 5, 1987, at the Martin Beck Theatre. The production, which ran for 764 performances, won Tony® Awards for best score, best book and best actress in a musical. Among other awards, the musical received five Drama Desk awards, including best musical. “Into the Woods” has been produced around the world, including a 1988 U.S. tour, a 1990 West End production, Broadway and London revivals, in addition to a television production, DVD recording and a 10-year-anniversary concert.

Eine handvoll hochkarätiger Stars weilt gerade in Großbritannien um das Musical Into the Wood von Stephen Sondheim zu verfilmen, in dem eine böse Hexe einen Bäcker und seine Frau mit dem Fluch der Kinderlosigkeit bestraft hat. Um den Bann aufzulösen, müssen sie sich auf die Suche nach verschiedenen Gegenständen machen, z.B. sollen sie der Hexe Rotkäppchens Mantel beschaffen. Da ist natürlich klar, dass die beiden dabei auf viele bekannte Märchen-Charaktere neben Rotkäppchen treffen.
Chris Pine wird darin den Prinzen von Aschenputtel mimen, die wiederum wird von Twilight Saga Schauspielerin Anna Kendrick verkörpert. James Cordon spielt den Bäcker und seine Frau wird von Emily Blunt dargestellt. Mit dabei sind auch Johnny Depp als der Wolf und Merly Streep als die böse Hexe.
Der Film soll nächstes Jahr am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag in den USA starten und wird gerade gedreht.
Trostloses Märchen-Pärchen Trauerspiel? Anna Kendrick als triste Cinderella

Nach "Snow White and the Huntsman", "Red Riding Hood", und "Alice im Wunderland" kommt jetzt eine weitere Märchenverfilmung in die Kinos. "Into the Woods" soll der neue Streifen heißen. Was soll das denn für ein Film sein? Während es bei Schneewittchen, Rotkäppchen und Alice gleich "klick" macht, ist dieses Märchen etwas undurchschaubarer. Genau genommen handelt es sich nämlich um ein ganzes Märchen-Medley - bestens geeignet also für diejenigen, die sich noch nicht entschieden haben, welche ihre Lieblings-Geschichte aus dem Hause Grimm ist.
Der Cast, in dem sich unter anderem Hollywood Größen wie Johnny Depp (50) und Meryl Streep (64) einreihen, klingt vielversprechend. Für die Rolle der Cinderella und des Prinz Charming konnten die Produzenten Anna Kendrick (28) und Chris Pine (33) begeistern - auch wenn die beiden auf Fotos von kürzlichen Dreharbeiten alles andere als begeistert wirkten. Sie im Prinzessinnen-Kleid, er in einer königlichen Robe, eine Kutschfahrt - wenn das nicht märchhenhaft ist, was dann? Trotzdem ziehen Anna und Chris Gesichter, die eher nach drei Tage Regen aussehen - romantische Atmosphäre? Fehlanzeige! Haben die beiden etwa keinen Bock auf den Film? Nein, daran wird es sicher nicht liegen. Vielmehr könnten die Trauermienen sogar so im Drehbuch stehen. Im Film sollen Cinderella und ihre Märchen-Kollegen sich nämlich mit einer bösen Hexe (Meryl Streep) herumschlagen, die ihnen mit einem Fluch das Leben zur Hölle macht - und Annas und Chris' Gesichtern nach zu urteilen, offenbar mit Erfolg.
Ob der Bann am Ende des Films doch noch gebrochen wird und es ganz Märchen-typisch zum Happy-End kommt, werden wir wohl so schnell nicht erfahren: "Into the Woods" soll erst Ende 2014 in die Kinos kommen. Bis dahin werden wir aber natürlich die Augen offen halten und euch informieren, falls doch nochmal ein Lächeln über Cinderellas hübsches Gesicht huscht.
