Ein neuer Engel & Felicia Day: "Supernatural"-Fotos zu Ep. 20 & 21 + Promo
Eine Ladung Bilder aus den nächsten beiden "Supernatural"-Episoden zeigt Rückkehrerin Charlie beim Jägertraining und den Engel Metatron.
Vier Folgen vor Schluss legt die achte Staffel der Mysteryserie Supernatural gerade noch mal eine kleine Pause ein. Am 24. April geht es dann aber auch schon weiter und direkt auf die Zielgerade zum Staffelfinale. In Ep. 20 "Pac-Man Fever" mal wieder mit dabei: Geek-Queen Felicia Day (The Guild) als Charlie Bradbury, der eine ganz besondere Ehre zuteil wird.
Da Sam (Jared Padalecki) nach der zweiten Aufgabe gesundheitlich angeschlagen ist, verbietet Dean (Jensen Ackles) ihm, seinen Jägerpflichten nachzugehen, bis er sich komplett erholt hat. Als Charlie die Jungs mit einem neuen Fall kontaktiert, beschließt Dean kurzerhand, sie zur Jägerin auszubilden. Doch so sehr sie sich auch freuen, sie wiederzusehen, beschleicht die beiden Winchesters bald der Verdacht, dass Charlie etwas verbirgt, etwas, das sie umbringen könnte... Und sogar aus Ep. 21 "The Great Escapist", die The CW am 1. Mai ausstrahlt, liegen schon zwei Fotos vor. Die enthüllen ein neues Gesicht im Supernatural-Universum: Gaststar Curtis Armstrong (Das Model und der Schnüffler) kommt für drei Folgen an Bord und spielt Engel Metatron, den zurückgezogen lebenden Schreiberling Gottes. Dean und Sam suchen ihn auf, um die Lücken in Kevins (Osric Chau) Nachforschungen zu füllen. Allerdings sieht es hier noch nicht danach aus, als ob Metatron ihnen bereitwillig seine Dienste anbietet.
A new angel is joining Supernatural‘s flock, and we’ve got an exclusive first look at Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds, Moonlighting) as Metatron, the reclusive scribe of God.
Armstrong makes his debut in the May 1 episode (The CW, 9/8c) — penned by fan favorite Ben Edlund — when Dean and Sam seek out the heavenly creature to fill in the holes in Kevin’s research.
But will Metatron offer up his services to help out the Winchesters? It sure doesn’t look that way from the confrontational photos below. (In case you missed our earlier scoop, Dean will have his hands full with Tron.)

Taylor Cole kehrt zur achten Staffel von " Supernatural " zurück
Die Vergangenheit holt die beiden Winchester-Brüder in der 22. Episode der 8. Staffel von Supernatural wieder ein, denn es kehrt eine alte Flirtbekanntschaft von Sam zurück.
Taylor Cole, die in der 1. Staffel als Kunsthändlerin Sarah Blake in einer Folge zu sehen war, wird nämlich wieder auftauchen.
Laut dem ausführenden Produzenten Jeremy Carver, würden einige alte Freunde wieder auftauchen, die im Zusammenhang mit den Aufgaben ständen, die erfüllt werden müssen, um das Tor zur Hölle zu schließen.
Supernatural Surprise: Taylor Cole Returns — And She's Not the Only One Coming Back
Supernatural is getting a visit from an old love.
Taylor Cole (The Glades) will reprise her role as Sarah Blake, the art gallery owner Sam clicked with in Season 1 (!) — and she’s “not going to be the only blast from the past” as the CW series wraps up Season 8, executive producer Jeremy Carver tells TVLine.
The reappearance of old friends is somewhat related to the trials, and not in a very good way,” teases the EP.
Cole — who tweeted the below photo from set this past Saturday — will guest star in Episode 22 (airing May 8), which is tellingly titled “Clip Show.”
“It’s an episode of nothing but flashback moments to our favorite hugs and kisses,” jokes Carver.

Supernatural 8.21 Photos: There's a New Angel in Town
The last three episodes of Supernatural this season will be all about the show's mythology and it looks like we're getting one step closer to the inevitable showdown over the Tablets and what they can accomplish. In early May we'll be getting an episode called "The Great Escapist", which will introduce us to a known - but previously unseen - angel: Metatron.
We last saw Kevin mysteriously disappear from Garth's boat house. Was he actually taken by Crowley or - as many people suspect - did someone else get to him? The Winchesters are at a loss as to his location, but they'll soon receive a video message from Kevin giving them clues about the Third Trial. Some research leads them to a recluse in Colorado who might be able to help. And it seems like he might a big help, indeed, because the recluse is actually the very angel who wrote the Demon Tablet (and all of the other Tablets). But is Metatron willing to get back into the big game? The photos indicate that persuading him might be slightly difficult.
Meanwhile, Crowley is making some pretty good progress with his own plans. But what of Castiel? We last saw him on a bus, trying to hide the Angel Tablet from both Dean and Naomi. Naomi isn't pleased that Castiel broke free of her control and he continues to run as she and her angels give chase. This episode was penned by fan favorite writer Ben Edlund, so I've got high hopes for it.
Supernatural Preview: Metatron Makes an Appearance and Castiel Returns!
Felicia Day returned as Charlie in this week's Supernatural. She tracked the boys down about a case and they learned that a new type of djinn was killing people. While Sam was ill after the Second Trial, he insisted on helping as best he could. So when Charlie was captured by the djinn, the Winchesters tracked down her history and killed the djinn in an attempt to save her. But when the antidote didn't work, Dean went inside Charlie's dream to try and save her while Sam was stuck behind in the warehouse with a second djinn that the brothers hadn't know about. Eventually, Charlie had to let go of the fear of losing her comatose mother in order to help her and Dean escape from the dream/video game they were trapped in. For more on the episode,
In next week's episode, Kevin reaches out to the Winchesters via video message to tell them about the Third Trial. The quest for more information leads them to a recluse in Colorado who just so happens to be the Tablets' original scribe: the angel Metatron. But will Metatron be willing to get involved in Heavenly politics? Meanwhile, Castiel continues on his quest to elude Naomi and her angels while Crowley is apparently "on a winning streak".
Supernatural Sneak Peek: Dean Worries About Sickly Sam
This week's Supernatural made it clear that Sam isn't doing very well after the Second Trial. Whatever is happening to him, the side effects are making him extremely ill. He spent most of "Pac-Man Fever" looking sickly and trying to convince Dean that he could still work the case (read our review).
While Dean was prepared to stop arguing with Sam over working cases and suggested they resume the search for Kevin, Sam's declining health is bringing out the big brother/surrogate parent in Dean. He can't help but try to get food into Sam's system or check his temperature. But Sam snaps, telling him that they're going to have to tackle this head on by moving forward. Because he's accepted that these side-effects are a necessary part of completing the trials. "Those first two trials, they're not just things I did. They're doing something to me. They're changing me, Dean," Sam admits. Changing him? How? And why? There are a lot of theories floating around fandom about exactly what is happening to Sam and we're going to explore some of those next week before the next episode. But until we know for certain exactly what is happening to Sammy, we, like Dean, will be worrying.
Elsewhere in this episode (penned by Ben Edlund), Castiel makes a return appearance and seems to have been caught by Naomi and her angels, who are still trying to recover the Angel Tablet. And Metatron makes an.
Die Mysteryserie "Supernatural" holte im Anschluss ebenfalls sehr gute 16,2 Prozent Marktanteil. Die erfolgreiche Prime Time trug maßgeblich zum guten Tagesmarktanteil von 13,9 Prozent für ProSieben bei.
