" Supernatural " : Stills der Episode 8.10 " Torn and Frayed "
The CW has released a handful of images from the January 16 return episode of Supernatural which is called “Torn and Frayed.”
In the episode, Naomi recruits Castiel to rescue a fellow angel who has been taken captive by Crowley before he finds out any secrets. Cas goes to Dean for help. Meanwhile, Sam meets with Amelia and is given an ultimatum that he has to make a choice between staying with her or never seeing her again.

"Torn and Frayed" - Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) tells Castiel (Misha Collins) that Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) is holding an angel captive and Castiel must rescue him before Crowley finds out their secrets. Castiel turns to Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) meets with Amelia (guest star Liane Balaban) who asks him to make a choice: stay with her or leave and never contact her again. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Jenny Klein (#110).

First Look: 'Supernatural' puts Kevin in danger, Dean in a hook-up position (Photos)
Things are about to heat up for Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and get a whole lot more dangerous for Kevin (Osric Chau)!
In Supernatural's "Trial and Error," Kevin deciphers the tablet and figures out how to close the gates of Hell. He tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean that according to the tablet one person must face a series of three tests designed by God. The first one – kill a hellhound. Sam and Dean argue over who should complete the trials.

As you can see from the photo preview, Kevin may be the one to feel the most of that danger. Apparently locking yourself away with study materials can't keep you safe from everything-- or anything, really.
And did we mention Dean hooks up? What do you think that is about?
Supernatural airs on The CW on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. "Trial and Error" airs on February 13th 2013.
Supernatural Scoop: Melrose Place, Continuum Actors to Visit the Winchesters
Melrose Place alum Brooke Langton and Continuum actor John Reardon will guest-star on an upcoming episode of The CW’s Supernatural, TVLine has confirmed.
Langton — whose credits also include Friday Night Lights and Life — will play Hayley, a single mom desperate to find a cure for her son’s strange affliction.
Reardon, meanwhile, will be Shane, a bearded drifter full of courage and integrity whose true identity is unknown, even to himself. (Perhaps the hour’s title, “Remember the Titans,” is a hint?)

Das Ziel der 8. Staffel „Supernatural“ ist es noch immer, die Tore zur Hölle ein für allemal zu schließen. Um dieses Ziel aber auch zu erreichen, musste einer der Winchester-Brüder eine Reihe von Prüfungen bestehen - erst dann würden sie die wichtigste aller Informationen bekommen. Es war schließlich Sam, der sich den Prüfungen stellen musste und wie nicht anders zu erwarten, kosteten sie ihm eine Menge Kraft. "Es war ziemlich anstrengend ... zudem begnn er einige seiner körperlichen Fähigkeiten zu verlieren", erklärte Darsteller Jared Padalecki im Interview mit "Zap2it".
Doch die Aussicht auf ein Leben ohne Dämonen, gab Sam die nötige Kraft, weiterzumachen und nicht aufzugeben. "Es ist nicht leicht ... einer der Jungs oder sogar beide könnten getötet werden, doch ihrer Meinung nach, ist es das wert", so Padalecki. Bereits in der Vergangenheit hatten die Winchester-Brüder mehr als einmal bewiesen, wie weit sie gehen würden. Und so wurde ihr Mut auch dieses Mal belohnt, denn am Ende sprach Sam den nötigen Zauberspruch, um das Schließen der Tore in Gang zu setzen. Der erste Schritt ist damit getan

Gestern Abend stand dort die 19. Folge “Taxi Driver” auf dem Programm und mitten in der Nacht deutscher Zeit wurden dort vor Ausstrahlungsbeginn die Bilder zu der Episode veröffentlicht.
A new angel is joining Supernatural‘s flock, and we’ve got an exclusive first look at Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds, Moonlighting) as Metatron, the reclusive scribe of God.
Armstrong makes his debut in the May 1 episode (The CW, 9/8c) — penned by fan favorite Ben Edlund — when Dean and Sam seek out the heavenly creature to fill in the holes in Kevin’s research.
But will Metatron offer up his services to help out the Winchesters? It sure doesn’t look that way from the confrontational photos below. (In case you missed our earlier scoop, Dean will have his hands full with Tron.)
