" Maps to the Star " : Robert Pattinson`s Anzug stammt von " GUCCI "
Currently filming Maps to the Stars, his second movie with David Cronenberg, Robert Pattinson's Twilight days are surely far behind him. Also far behind him, thank heavens, are those long, suit-free, post-Kristen days during which he seemed to do nothing but slouch in the Los Angeles heat in shorts and scruffy T-shirts. Thanks to his role as a smart chauffeur in the cult director's new movie, our faith in the single Rob's ability to dress well has returned.
If only because he looks so much better in a classic black suit than his typical LA daywear, he must be forgiven for spending the entire time on the set of the new movie with his shirt untucked and unbuttoned (above). Even if the suit is hardly impeccable like the famous Gucci suit Pattinson wore while portraying Don DeLillo's sociopathic billionaire Eric Packer in Cosmopolis (below), it still looks pretty good. Since style expectations for another upcoming Pattinson movie, David Michod's recently-wrapped The Rover, appear to be so low (the film is set in the Australian desert and the characters are rough and rugged), the fact that Maps to the Stars, a movie about Hollywood, looks so promising can only come as a relief to those who rely on Pattinson for inspiration. And whatever happens in Pattinson's future, his status as a sartorial legend will forever be secured - in my mind, at least - thanks to Cosmopolis and Gucci

Robert Pattinson (27) dreht wieder! In Toronto steht er für seinen neuen Streifen „Maps To The Stars“ vor der Kamera und dort bekommt er es mit alten Bekannten zu tun. Es ist nicht nur eine Reunion mit Regisseur David Cronenberg, sondern auch mit seinem „Cosmopolis“ Co-Star Sarah Gadon (26).
Mit ihr soll sich Rob mehr als blendend verstehen, wie eine Quelle der britischen Zeitung ‚Mirror‘ verriet.
„Das Paar filmt in in Toronto und sie haben eine offensichtliche Chemie. Sie lachen viel. Aber nehmen auch ihre Arbeit sehr ernst, diskutierten über ihre Rollen und proben oft gemeinsam.“
Weiter heißt es von dem vermeintlichen Insider, „Sarah half Rob dabei, für die Zeit des Drehs ein cooles Anwesen am Wasser zu finden und sie hängen viel miteinander rum, wann immer es möglich ist. Sie haben ähnliche Vergangenheiten. Auf dem Papier würden sie ein sehr süßes Paar abgeben.“
„Rob hat keine Eile, eine neue Freundin zu finden. Also offiziell sind er und Sarah immer noch sehr gut befreundet.“
Am Set wurde Robert Pattinson auch beim angeregten Gespräch mit Mia Wasikowska beobachtet. Der Cast von „Maps To The Stars“ scheint sich gesucht und gefunden zu haben…

Erst vor einer Woche startete Robert Pattinson seinen Abstecher nach Toronto (Kanada), wo sein neuer Film „Maps To The Stars“ gedreht wird. Es scheint aber so, als ob Rob seinen Teil des Jobs schon erfüllt hat.
Am Dienstag (23. Juli) jettete Rob wieder zurück nach Los Angeles. Fans sahen den Ex-Filmvampir am Flughafen mit seinem Handy rumspielen und knipsten glücklicherweise davon auch Bilder.
Einige Stunden später landete Pattinson dann auch schon mit Mütze und Sonnenbrille in L.A..
Eine Mini-Wrap-Party fand am Abend zuvor statt. Da hing Rob mit seinem Co-Star Mia Wasikowska, Jesse Eisenberg und einigen Freunden rum. Es wurde sich mit Küsschen und Umarmungen verabschiedet (Bilder), natürlich rein freundschaftlich.
Was das zu bedeuten hat? Möglicherweise steigt Robert Pattinson ja schon bald wieder ins aktive Drehgeschehen ein, denn es war stets die Rede davon, dass in Toronto UND Los Angeles gedreht wird. Auch Regisseur David Cronenberg bestätigte, dass es sein erster Dreh außerhalb Kanadas werden wird.

Robert Pattinson All Smiles on Set After Security Guard Scuffle
Robert Pattinson appears to be in a good mood while filming scenes for his movie Maps to the Stars on Saturday afternoon (August 17) at Union Station in Los Angeles.
The night before, the 27-year-old attended a concert at The Troubadour and was mobbed by photographers and fans while exiting the venue.

Montreal, September 19, 2013 − Telefilm Canada announces its support for the production of nine English- and French-language feature films from Quebec, Ontario, Nunavut and Western Canada through the Canada Feature Film Fund (CFFF). The total allocation for the productions selected, in the first quarter of 2013-2014, is $12 million.
“Our portfolio is as diverse as ever, broadening to thrillers, fantasies and other genres while maintaining our commitment to financing high-quality dramas,” said Telefilm Canada’s Executive Director, Carolle Brabant. “The films we’ve chosen will feature some of Canada’s most talented actors, including Donald Sutherland and Sarah Gadon, working alongside top international stars such as Susan Sarandon, Ellen Burstyn, Julianne Moore and John Cusack.”
