August 17, 2011 Fan Encounter with Booboo Stewart in Tustin 4:07 AM
I've known Booboo for about 5 years now - we met way back when in the T-Squad days, and became pretty good friends. We would talk fairly often, sometimes everyday, and I tried to make it out to every event I could. But, life took over, and we started to drift. It ended up being that a couple years had passed and I hadn't seen him. Well, that all changed on August 12, 2011. He & Fivel had a concert in Tustin, CA, and I decided I was going to make the trip down there to see him. I was nervous that it wouldn't be the same as it used to be, and that instead of a friend I would be just another fan in the crowd. But luckily, it wasn't like that, and I got to reunite with him and catch up a little! My friend and I bought VIP access, so I got to see him before the show, and I also saw him at the meet & greet. He was super nice, and goofy as always, and it was really refreshing to see he hadn't changed a bit. I had made him cupcakes, and they got a little messed up from moving around in my bag, but he gladly took them. I showed him a really old picture of us, and he was so amazed and we got a good laugh out of it. I also got to talk with his parents and tell them how I've been, and it was nice that they were happy to see me. Meeting the Stewart family is such a blessing - they are incredibly nice and caring people, and they are one of a kind. It's no wonder that all his fans love & adore him so much!
